RE: Challenger News
Actually, McDonald, back in the '70s, the Challenger and Barracuda were totally different cars. The wheelbase of the 'Cuda was a bit shorter in the Challenger, so none of the body components would fit between the cars. I don't know now if DCX would be willing to make a fairly extensive -- and I'm sure costly -- alteration like that. Probably just the front and rear ends would be different.

RE: Challenger News
Try to take this story with a grain of salt, we have already proven that one of his photos were "false", or atleast misused. (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though because the back lights do resemble a `cudas) But time will tell how correct he is.

davecpa,
I am thinking about selling my Corvette so that I can buy the Challenger. [sm=smiley19.gif] [sm=smiley19.gif]
My 2-car garage is full and something has to go if the Challenger finds its way to my home![sm=drooldude.gif][sm=drooldude.gif]
However, this story can have a happy ending if my son decides to take the Corvette off my hands and still keep it in the family.
This way I can drive it occasionally, just to make sure it's still running OK.[sm=devilangel.gif][sm=devilangel.gif]

I really cannot fit the kids in the M3 but I can carry a few drunk teen girls in the EVO MR to motel room w/o much trouble.

RE: Challenger News
It is. We noticed it was a model car of a challenger concept a few months back on a previous thread. (I assuming the model was similar to what the clay models were before the asctual concept was shown.) It is the model cast car that is in the edmunds video where the two cheif designers talk about their inspiration. In fact you can see his shoulder in the bottom corner. Dakota..something either doctoreds or used the doctored photo as a reasonable example of a potential cuda kit ( or package, or car)
