Challenger SRT8 vs. '96 Corvette LT4
I took my Challenger SRT8 six-speed through some twisties on Oklahoma Route 77 and thought about how similar it felt to my ’96 LT4 Corvette six-speed. That got me thinking…
Zero to 60 mph: 4.8 sec vs. 5.1sec
Standing ¼-mile: 13.3 sec @ 108 mph vs. 13.7 sec @ 104 mph
Top speed: 168 mph vs. 168 mph
Braking, 70–0 mph: 170 ft vs. 164 ft
Road holding, 300-ft-dia skid pad: 0.86 g vs. 89g
So which is car listed left and right?

Keep guessing folks.
What is the point of this exercise? Magazines of late, the ones that raved of the Challenger's capabilities in 2008 seem now to imply it is a dog. Yet the numbers indicate it would stack well with the best Corvette of 1996...not bad for a 4 passenger muscle car.
