RE: Challengers Below Invoice??
Someone called Vann Dodge about the $5k off deal. They were told that it was a cars.com mistake-prices were pulled from Dodge Chargers not the Challenger. They said they want $10K over MSRP but will settle for MSRP.

Had that same issue with a place in Castle Rock. Online it was below MSRP, get down there and they say it was a posting mistake. When I headed home, they had it corrected. Go figure.

This kind of makes me wonder what Challengers are going for nowadays. I have to imagine many dealers would take a good discount off MSRP with the way sales are (or are not).

Not only that, they get other dealer incentives!
BTW, if you can show the advertizement for $5000 off MSRP, they have to sell it to you for that!

RE: Challengers Below Invoice??
Sorry Wallstreetman , thats not quite true that they have to sell you that for the advertised price. In NJ they can get out of that promise so easy it makes me sick!!. read the fine print in the ad no.1, then it has to be in stock no.2 , no 3 its not the same car, meaning just one option is different, its not the same color , or the best is sorry we just sold the last of that sales event stock ( meaning their salesman took it home or its in the name of his wife or sister, and on and on ....As for VAN dodge , that was one of the dealers in my 1&1/2 years search for a 2008 SRT8 of over 53 dealers across the country that I actually visited in person. All I can say is " BE CAREFULL, BE VERY CAREFULL" of this dealer as they gave me some of the biggest lies and " No Knowledge" of the Challenger being able to be pre ordered and Chryslers No orders in dealer names ETC and now they are callling me with promises of a Numbered 2008SRT8 at MSRP and I have the extreme pleasure to tell them sorry pal, your loss, as my 2009 is sitting in my garage and I pre ordered it from a REPUTABLE dealer, GOOD BY! So thats all I can tell you , those discount ads and anything like that is just to get you there in the door ....then LOCK UP YOUR WALLET and NEVER !!!! pick up a pen for anything till your back in your car on your way home!!!....GOOD LUCK to anyone that goes there!! The Vancouver WA dodge dealer has a 09 Red SRT automatic on the lot TODAY featuring a $9995 "adjustment" over MSRP.
And some dealers wonder why people find buying a new car such a distasteful experience.
Needless to say, I lock my doors and gun it when I drive past that dealership.....
On the other hand, my purchase at Timberline Dodge was a experience to smile and brag about. Thank goodness.....
