Haters is right, I had three jobs and was in school when I was Rudy's age and I don't want that for my son.
I think it's great that Rudy is in school and his dad gave him this awsome car! I worked my way thru school both times because I had no choice. Now my son is a sophmore and I do all I can for him, he has a full ride and that allows me to do other stuff for him. Now, if he was not in school or a dead beat it would be a very different dealo. YMMV
I still can't get over you guys who have cops bark at ya about your car. No one but a cop is gonna do that, at least I think.

Will your dad adopt me? I am 44 and willing to be a loyal son to him. He can also put me through law school since I have an undergrad already. Please let me know, I am tired of working and would like to take it easy for a while and drive a new chally. Will he be able to afford your car and mine including insurance? If not we might have to talk about selling your car; no disrespect little bro.

 

I picked my 09 R/T up on Tuesday am and stopped less than 1 mile from the dealer to fill up at a gas station. I get out of the car and a cop has just pulled in to hassle the guy at the pump next to mine about making an illegal left.

After he gets done talking to that guy, he comes over and asks me if this is my Challenger, tells me it's nice and asks me how fast it is. "Gee officer, I just bought it & haven't put a whole mile on it, so I don't know how fast it is" (thinking to myself the whole time, " a heckuva lot faster than your Crown Vic"). He just smiled nad said "enjoy the car" and drove off.
