well my quote favorite dealer unquote in STL I just called told me 10K over sticker is as low as they would go. I asked him why would pay you that when that very car is on ebay with a buy it now price of 46K?

They must take us all for idiots.

 

There have been a number of people who come on and claim dealers are selling at MSRP, but not one person has confirmed that claim. I contacted two dealers in the STL area and one wanted $56K and the other $50K. Now, they may not get that but they are not selling at MSRP either. That may happen, but not yet.

 

I just got off phone with dealer in Oregon.....Wants to sell cars .....told him to post here..get ready if you want DEAL! I should have waited.

 

I agree could have waited but I like my number 828 and Im happy with my car

 

So we have no confirmed information that anyone has paid MSRP for an 08?

 

THERES A BROKER IN THE SOUTH THAT IS BUYING AS MANY AS THEY CAN GET THERE HANDS ON FOR 3-5K OVER. THEY OFFERED 5K OVER ON ALL 4 OF OURS EACH. A DEALER DOESNT "HAVE TO" ACCEPT ONLY STICKER WHEN HE CAN WHOLESALE IT FOR 3-5K OVER!

(ONE CATCH THOUGH,,, IF THE FACTORY DOESNT GET A REPORT THAT THEY WERE SOLD RETAIL, THEN THEY LOWER THE AMOUNT YOU GET LATER DRASTICALLY)

 

I know one person that order his at MSRP from a very small dealer and got it

 

THERE ARE ALOT OF THOSE STORIES AND NO ONE HAS SHOWN PROOF YET! YOU DONT HAVE TO BE ASHAMED OF PAYING THE PRICE FOR THESE CARS. ITS ALL ABOUT JUST GETTING THEM! SOME OF YOU SAID HONESTLY THAT YOU PAID OVER AND YOU GOT A LOW #! ITS NO DIFFERENT THAN BUYING A CUP-O-COFFEE AT 7-11 FOR .99 -vs- 3.99 AT STARBUCKS. SOME WANT IT AND WILL PAY FOR IT. OTHERS WILL / WELL / UHM / YA KNOW!!!

 

Don't buy from Sherman Dodge. They are the biggest crooks around. They quoted me a price, had it in writing, went in there to talk and was told they could not honor that price. told me I could have it for $20,000 over sticker. I let my feelings be known and turned a few heads in the showroom. These guys are the biggest crooks around here. I REPEAT DON'T BUY FROM THESE SCUM BAGS

 

if big dealers or collectors are buying all the remaining '08 SRT then maybe then the SRT some people own will become rare and prized. And maybe in 20-years collectible. Maybe...
