#2936 was purchased at MSRP... no more, no less. The dealer honored the agreement struck when the car was ordered and did not even hint at trying to make an extra buck off me. That is called professional integrity. He also let me know if I decided I did not want the car he would be happy to refund. The dealership provided thier standard 3 day no questions asked return for full price if I decided I did not want to keep the car. In fact he said for this car they would make an exception and be happy to extend that period...

 

NO MAYBE'S ABOUT IT. THESE NUMBERED 08'S WILL BE WORTH MORE THAN YOU PAID QUICKER THAN MOST COLLECTOR CARS!!! BUT ACCORDING TO SOME OF THE AGES BEING POSTED, THEY MIGHT NOT BE AROUND TO SEE IT!! HAHAHAHA JUST KIDIN!!! LONG LIVE DODGE AND THEIR DRIVERS!!!!!!

I think he's shouting because he still thinks 6500 08s were made. Can't we just block his annoyance on the site. It's tiring me out and keeping me/you/and all us Challenger guys and a few gals from enjoying talking about THE CAR

He's a desperate car salesman that is trying to hype the car up to make his big sale! Little does he know he's targeting the wrong crowd here...we're too knowlegable to be fooled by him. Honestly, he should learn a little bit more about the car and figure out how many '08's they REALLY made! We just have to remember...he's a puppet for the general manager at his dealership to 'get out and sell these cars...whatever it takes'.

 

I don't know how many "08s" were "officially" made but Autoweek this week reports that 750 of 6400 '08s produced have not been sold. Besides the numbered dash plaque what really makes them different from an '09? I've got a feeling that there are going to be quite a few dealers willing to deal before too long on these "collector" cars. The longer they sit on the lot the more money they lose. I do know one thing though, I'm glad I didn't jump in with both feet when this all started. I'm $755 under sticker on an '09 R/T and I know there is more there if I'm patient. Hell next spring the factory will be offering incentives.
