RE: greetings from Chicago
i thought that there was an issue with the 6.4 not being compatible with the MDS, which i believe is becoming more of a concern for the automakers...
perhaps they want to keep the 6.4 a crate motor?
when i first heard about the 6.5, i thought that the person with whom i was speaking, was mistaken, but ive heard several discussions about it now.

im not real sure...the 6.1L, i believe, is 370 cubic inches...although 6.1L is equal to 372.222...370 cubic inches would actually be 6.06L.
i think that alot of rounding goes on in engine sizes...
1L is equal to 61.02 cubic inches.
6.4L hemi would not be 392 cubic inches. 6.4 would be 390.58 cubic inches, and 392 cubi c inches would be 6.43cid.
