OK. I can understand if the software was that badly messed up. We can't expect you to perform miracles.

 

It wasnt so much a problem of the software failing, but a bigger problem that the designers couldnt do anything to fix the problem. I had been working with that software for a long time...4-5 years across almsot 50 sites, but this software really works much more smoothly.

 

Is there a way to get different icons on the Dodge Challenger Forums page? Right now, it's kind of hard to tell which topics have new items and which ones don't. Also, can we get the smiley faces back inside the messages like we used to have? Sometimes, you want to put one at the end of a sentence to make sure you know people understand you're kidding.

Yes. We definitely need a production model. But not black. Nor orange nor silver. I would suggest a White Challenger, a la Vanishing Point. And an SE model would be nice. Yes, a White SE. That would be perfect.

 

We have smilies, although only a limited number of them right now. You will need to go into your User CP, then options, and the last dropdown box you will need to change to the enhanced editor.

Ill push to get the challenger in the top changed, as well as asking for a more defined icon set on the forum main page and more smilies....but for now they are working through the site upgrades.

 

OK. My Vanishing Point avatar is back in business. All is right with the world.

 

Thanks Bad Mirada for taking the time to explain all the problems the site was having.....I am still old school and so I leave all "the black magic" to those of you that truly know what you are doing.....thanks for your hard work on this site......

 

The Challenger at the top of the page should be Black, not white......sorry RoswellGrey, but had to add my two cents
