Will the Hemi Orange be continued for the R/T? Or is it a limited color? What about the SRT?

The current rumor is that Hemi Orange for both the R/T and SRT8 are being axed at the end of the calendar year. But, as always take rumors with a grain of salt. The fact that Hemi Orange is listed as "Limited Availability" in the context of the color itself in the '09 brochure (the big one, not the small leaflet one) suggests that this is true and it's not just limited availability for the SRT8.

That's good news for those that already have a Hemi Orange SRT. They sure sold a lot of them. Perhaps they should have made all three 08 colors limited...........just to seperate the first year from the 09s. But in the long run doesn't really matter I guess.

I was told when I ordered my car that the Hemi Orange was suppose to be for 2008 LE only. Then there was such an out cry that Chrylser decided to make several hundred 2009 in Orange to boost sales. After couple hundred, no more. That's one of the reasons I got the Hemi Orange, besides it's the best looking color by far. IMHO

What are you saying......that Hemi Orange looks better from far off....(Just Kidding)
I actually purchased my black one because I had a black 70 RT/SE in High School, so it was a given. Also, wanted something different as it seemed as if all the Challengers in the ads and magazine stories were Hemi Orange, but that's just me.
(of course my Hemi is.....darn I say it....Hemi Orange)
