How can dealers "legally" sell on eBay?
Hey Wallstreetman,
I have read several of your posts and you sure seem to be worried about money. I own my own business and have a lot of money in the stock market with a pension plan. You wall street guys seem to be all the same....give me your money and I will make you a lot!! But, alas, if the tech bubble had not burst....or the pork bellies had not gone bad...etc, etc.......
I will definitely put my money into something I will enjoy and if you do not want to.... go over to the Bed bath and Beyond forum or something...

Dude, a word of advice, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I bought the very first Charger RT in my area. I paid MSRP. I got lucky, most paid $5,000 over for a couple of years. Until the gas price problem, most SRT8 cars were still selling over MSRP. If we use the Charger for an example, the V6 cars wont be worth much, got rebates in the first year and still do. The RT and SRT never really got any deals. The V6 Challenger, still dont understand a muscle car without muscles, guess some just need to look cool, will do the same. I believe anyone buying the V6 is going to lose a lot more than those of us that paid MSRP up to $5,000 over. Please see my post, How much did you pay?, and you will see that most who ordered the 2008 paid a very fair price. As we can see, those that waited for an 09 are already facing a beginning price of $3,000 more than the 2008 model. Therefore, those bragging that they waited for the 09 and agreed to MSRP, are paying alot more than most midwest and eastcoast people paid for the 08.

Guys the formula has'nt changed from the 70s. There were slant 6s and 318s along with the 340s,440s,383s and 426s. the 6s of today put out more hp than those of yesteryear. So a Challenger with a 250 hp six is more powerful than a 1972 Challenger with a 318. My 70 Challenger started life as a lowly 318. So muscle cars need reletives so they can exist. Without the 6s they cannot have the Hemis. So show some love for the base Challengers and Chargers without them we don't exist. We as in HEMI powered Muscle cars. And don't think that the 3.5s won't have some go fast goodies such as turbos and superchargers. Bolt-ons as in headers and intake, carbs and chips
With ya Lear. Well stated. I'm waiting for folks and there ideas of mods on the 6. Be kind of cool, I'd think. Has anyone been modding the 6's to date? if I already posted or anyone else has, apologies....

Morning Lear,
My post was not intented to bash the V6, but I can see where it does. I do apologize! The posts tone was in response to a lot of questioning and or bashing those of us lucky enough to have an 08 on order. The topic of this questioning is how much we are paying and I was simply stating facts as they were prior to the gas hikes. RTs ans SRTs have been at a premium and SEs were always at a discount and had a lower resale. I own a Charger RT and it gets more looks that the plentiful SE and less looks than the rarer SRT. So I do agree that they all have there place. Also, if you can start at $20,000 and bolt on some power, not a bad way to go. I also see no, or very little, price difference between the Challenger models and the Charger models, very fair of Chrysler.
With all of the factory delays, this discussion may be moot anyway. Good luck to all,
Dave
