I had a '70 with a 318 (actually, the best all-around engine Chrysler ever built) and 3-speed automatic. Originally, the body was Plum Crazy and it had a black vinyl top. The trouble with the color was it faded incredibly fast (I had it repainted at a good body shop once and that only lasted two years before it started fading). Eventually, I had the vinyl top removed and had the entire car painted 1982 Corvette white -- and the R/T insignia attached. Yes, I've seen "Vanishing Point" about 200 times.
