there's a hood prop??? what the hell??? my 03' ram has gas shocks!!!!! That's bogus... just makes me mad.... Velcro???? come on... Dude for real that stuff is so lame... man maybe I should wait for an SRT...

Saw a Torred R/T at the Dodge Ram Challenge over the weekend. I was mainly there for that rather then the Dodge Ram. They had the R/T inside and the SRT outside in Hemi Orange. I have to say, other then the hood props and the hood stripe, I like the R/T much better. Ribbed seats looked better in the R/T, and actually felt better to sit in. Of course the pistol grip shifter was nice. I looked at the SRT for a short while and then had to go back in and visit the R/T for a while. My wife couldn't stop drooling over it.

I wish they had them both outside though because the lights inside gave it an orange look. Very odd. Only the SRTs were outside though, SRT 4, SRT Charger, SRT Challenger and a SRT Viper. That thing fits like a glove right around your body. Probably the first and last time I will ever sit on the driver's side of a $90,000 car, though when GM had their thing going on years ago, got to drive a Corvette. That was nice, just couldn't get down the six speed. To many years driving a 5. Killed it when I first went to accelerate and then shifted into the wrong gear at another point. I bet the guy in the car with me wondered what the heck I was doing. I shouldn't be in there unless I know how to drive a stick. Happens when you are nervous though, not everyday you are taking out an expensive car with that much horsepower to see how fast it goes and how fast you can take corners without killing everyone.

 

Congratulations........now wipe that smile off your face.....what do you mean you can't! Enjoy you new ride I know I do. Surprised about the Hood Prop Rod as I thought all challengers came with the gas struts. If you didn't like the rod just replace it with the SRT gas struts. As far as the sound goes...it sings when your foot gets heavy. I have had cars (my 67 is one of them) that have a loud exhaust note...this new challenger is just right. I don't need to sound like a Mustang.
