RE: Inferno Red SE
A few things to point out:
A) I just noticed that the wheels on it are very similar to the concept wheels. I thought they were going to be too expensive to manufacture and dropped the design. I like em! [sm=smiley20.gif]
B) I guess no Challenger is safe from the Market Adjustment! [:@]
C) They sure didnt waste time slapping that ugly dealer decal on its @ss. Someone needs to be shot! [sm=violent053.gif][sm=pimp.gif]

Is that the car you had the VinVision run on this morning?

It actually got there about 9:00 am
The owner of the dealership came out and got introduced to me..
I guess they all thought for sure I would jump on it..

B) Like the Manager said "If you don't ask for it, you won't get it"
C) I told them they had better not put that on mine.. If you look at it doesn't appear to be on there straight..
They also mentioned they didn't even wash it yet.. so they put it on a dirty car..

RE: Inferno Red SE
It definitely needs something to give it more eye appeal..
a hood scoop
go-wing spoiler
chrome gas filler
white letter tires
chrome side pipes
Hood stripes by RiderGraphix
I think those things would make this look killer

That's not a bad looking car at all - it just needs to lose that 4x4 look. Sharp daily driver.

The fact that it's an Inferno Red Challenger makes it have plenty of eye appeal enough.

RE: Inferno Red SE
i like those rims and particularly dont care for RWL on bright paint job cars...just my choice...i agree a rear wing an the same gas filler as on the higher end models would make the SE look far better..i persnally cannot see why anybody would choose a base V6 mustang over the SE...problem here right now is very few SE's available on dealer lots....

RE: Inferno Red SE
My wife hadn't actually seen a new Challenger yet, so this afternoon we stopped at San Antonio's North Star Dodge (I ordered mine from Fiesta Dodge, on the other side of town) since they had two black 08 SRTs out in front. We looked those over, and she was really taken with the car. I noticed there were two cars in the showroom. One was an orange 08 and the other was a TorRed 09 SE. My wife fell in love with the red. I really liked it to. The MSRP was just over $24K, so I asked the salesman how much it was going for. They wanted just over $30K, a $6K markup. For the first time in my life, I decided to try to buy a car on the spot. I told the guy that if it went for MSRP, I'd write out a check right then. He got a shocked look and said he'd have to ask. He came back and offered a $5K markup. I'd already told him I had one on order at Fiesta for MSRP, so I told him I wouldn't go over MSRP. We chatted a bit, and all of a sudden, he offers $3K over MSRP. I again said no, it had to be no more than MSRP. He said that the manager just wouldn't go any lower than that. I figure if it's still there next weekend, I'll hit him again.
