MSRP
I have seen posts around here stating that people were able to score an SRT8 Challenger for MSRP. My roomate does not believe me and says that these people are liars. Would anyone mind posting a sales receipt or some other form of proof that this is indeed the price they paid? He thinks people who say they got them for MSRP are just not wanting to admit what they paid for the car.
I went down to lithia dodge, my local dealer, and priced out a 2009 RT. With options they wanted $5000 over the built price on the website (MSRP). They told me that Dodge *requires* them to ask for 5 grand over MSRP on these cars, and 10 grand over on the SRT8 model.

ALTHOUGH YOU POSTED A "QUOTE" ONLY, 3K OVER MSRP THAT YOU SHOWED IS QUITE GOOD.

I am still waiting on delivery, it's a big ocean I guess, so I don’t have the sales receipt in my hand yet.

RE: MSRP
Well I called the dealer in Hood and am waiting on a callback. Ditto on dave smith in kellogg Idaho.
I will pay MSRP without question but I want a lot for my trade. We'll see what happens. If I get "stuck" with my current car it's no big deal since this is more or less a sideways move w/regard to performance.
