So do we have a date when they will start buildiung these cars .I was told today it would be mid april before they started production .

 

The date I heard was April 14 for the line to start moving. Cars are now starting to move to D status which means they are 2-3 weeks away from being built. The cars will get D1 staus when they enter the line and start moving.

 

Suspense is killing me. Bought 2 more cars from this dealer today. Im calling in sick the day my chally comes in! Still on C status.

 

108, I believe I will be sick that same day. I'm not sure if it will be motion sickness or rubber poisoning, but I'm sure it will be one or the other. It sure will be sweet to hear that baby purrrrrrrrr and feel the throttle response and the 0.89 G force.

 

There will be some serious tire smoke when I leave the dealer .I bought this thing to drive and enjoy I have about a 5 hour drive to get home and I plan on enjoying every minute of it .

 

I just hope the exhaust sounds good, or im having it cut off asap, for a full custom exhaust. This car must sound mean.

 

Is it legal to make it louder? They said they made it as loud as was legally permissible.

 

Also, what does 'legally permissible' mean? I know some states impose decibel limits. Texas, for one doesn't. So to be 'legally permissible,' wouldn't it have to equal the LOWEST volume allowed in all the states -- and maybe provinces, if we throw in Canada?

 

I read that if it was just a few decibels more the Challenger would not have passed EPA standards. It should have a nice growl to it. Now it I could just remember where I read that. Lol......

 

My nova is 61.23 db's. I won the loudest car in wny contest. I beat some harleys 2. Its quiet when cruising and sickly loud when on the gas. I want my challenger to be the same. I want that hemi to breath.
