need advice on extended warranty
I'm picking up my 2010 se on Saturday. I am tending NOT to buy the extended warranty because

1- After the standard warranty is over, I have an honest mechanic I trust and will probably not go back to the dealer

2- I can buy an extended warranty at a later date for probably a better price should I change my mind

3- Will dodge be around as a company in 5-7 yrs?

What is the collective opinion of the group?

 

You can negotiate the price of ext. warranties. When your car is new you will get an extended warranty that offers better coverage, i.e. if you buy one when you have 70k on the odo you may only be able to buy power train coverage. Dodge quality isn't exactly "Challenging" Lexus for top spot.
