Option Questions:Hoping to order an 09 R/T tomorrow
Talked with my dealer and looks like I will be able to put a 09 on order tomorrow if all goes well.
Getting a white one with the J package and the Electronic Conv group.and a MyGig and Sound Group 2 with an Automatic and 18" wheels
1. should I order the Hi Intensity Lamps? are they worth it?
2. What is this "Light Slate Gray Insert" option? for the interior? anyone have a shot of what it will look like?
3. Looking at the Brochure, this Stone White doesn't look very white. i'm kind of worried it's gonna look too eggshell. thoughts? I want it more Alpine White, i hope it's not too far off. if it's like a pearl white I'm gonna vomit. anyone get a pic of a white one yet?

(update) i looked at pics of a Stone White Charger and in some pics it looks pure white and others not...........hhhhmmmm
I need to find one at the dealer to look at since they have the same color code

IN MY OPINION................
The high intensity lights are xenon lights. For about $600 you get pure bright light. Save your money. I have tham on my wife's Infiniti and I do not see the advantage.
The light grey insert is in the middle section of the leather seats. I do not like the effect. The Corvette also has this two-tone option and it is not very popular. Stick to a classic all black leather.
If you must order the white..........I have seen an accurate color chip and it is bright white and not eggshell. But, why get this hot muscle car in a boring oclor? [8D]

I saw a Stone White SE today. Its White white no yellowish to it. I had a White Dodge Shadow ES and I did like that with the black trim. I don,t think you will be disappointed.

HID lights aren't going to help you at all on resale. Unless you drive a lot at night I wouldn't do it. I think the two tone gray interior would look pretty good with white.

Somewhere on here is a youtube posting of some test mule R/T's. It gives a pretty good picture of the two-toned interior. Someone else may know what thread it is under.

but image a white one with a Matte Black Go Wing (if it isn't too dinky) and black Rims with Rivots
that is the look i'm going for

I really like having xenon lights on wife's 3 series and I can really tell the difference when I get to drive it with the xenon lights vs my daily driver with regular headlights. As I get older, I really appreciate the extra brightness while driving at night. Do I need them, no, but I can tell the difference between the two. I figure the extra money spent on it will pay for itself if I avoid hitting a deer or a human wearing dark clothes on an unlit road.
