When it comes to markups, I refuse to pay one cent over MSRP, for ANYTHING. I remember when the PT Cruisers came out and dealers were gouging people for $5,000 over sticker. Now look at them. If you pay much over $10K for a new PT Cruiser, you've been fleeced. No, my friend, I'll happily wait till my '09 SE arrives, then go out and buy another when the price goes down even more.

I am still trying to figure out how they put the number of 6401 on the dash plaque. Since you rightful (well some future rightful too) 08 owners who have 1 of or 953 of or 1048 of 6400, will they start the numbering count over and say 6401 of or 6446 of or 6500 of 6400

THE FIRST YEAR 6500 NUMBERED CHALLENGERS ARE NOT FOR THE AVERAGE JO OR THE GUY WHO THINKS THERE COOL!!!! THEY ARE FOR INVESTORS, COLLECTORS AND TRUE CHALLENGER ENTHUSIESTS. EVERYONE WHO COMPLAINS ABOUT THE PRICE OF THESE CANT OR SHOULDNT BUY ONE. YOU NEED TO BUY/ORDER YOUR 2009 MASS PRODUCED SE/RT! (SEE #1 AUCTONED AT BARRETT/JACKSON FOR $400,000.+) IF EACH ONE OF THE 6500 DECLINED A SMALL % EACH, WOULDNT THAT MAKE #6500 STILL WORTH WAY OVER M.S.R.P.???????? FOR ANYONE WHO PAID M.S.R.P OR LESS FOR THEIRS AND ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH DODGE IN ANY WAY, I CHALLENGE YOU TO POST YOUR CONTRACT FOR ALL TO SEE!!!!!

i'm interested in the car because it looks cool. i've been buying & driving rare cars for years and ur post just laugh my a$$ off. first of all, regardless what the current market for the car is, the '6400 LIMITED EDITION' is just funny. are u trying to say 6,400 cars in less than half year production is really LIMITED?!?! guess i don't get ur logic... have to laugh again. HAHAHA!
more can be said but i'm not going to waste my time with a typical clueless sales guy who thinks he's selling the best & hottest car on the market now. dumb. there are dumber out there. it's ur job to find those instead of those are smarter than u. if u can back up what u said as a stand-up fleet manager, u should offer members here to buy their cars back in a year at M.S.R.P? if u can't, then shut up. save ur typical Blue Book crap. u can even reply loudly if u have balls to offer to buy them back at Blue Book private party value. c'mon, can u? LOL!
and ur Viper logic was funny too. only a faceless car sales can write that black & white in public. consider this is not personal attack. just stating the fact.

RE: #3572 & #4536 Available Now!!!
I'm one of those that paid 10K over sticker because when I put my deposit down, I wrongly assumed that would be the market price since the inferior Shelby's went for 20K over sticker. But I do have one of the first ones in Atlanta and after three weeks and five hundred miles and many smokin burnouts I have not seen another one on the road.
Anyone who thinks these cars are going to go up in value is crazy. The late 60's to early 70's cars are an exception. Does anyone really think there will be a run on early 80's or early 90's cars. I hope not because they were mostly crap and will never be appreciated like a Hemi or a 427 or a 454 or an old GTO. It was a once in a lifetime thing and is OVER. There will be collector cars like the Ford GT but you can't recreate the era of the 60's.
