The K&N website has a dyno chart showing 31+ hp gained. You can view HP to RPM on that chart. The Mopar shows 26+ hp. Even though the Mopar CAI looks better I opted for the K&N for about 100.00 less.

I've seen the Mopar product but ordered to K&N. Once it got here I sent it back. It clearly states on the box for off road use only and the dyno results I've sse show less not more power then the Mopar setup. Besides the K&N looks cheap.

The console lid functions as a sliding armrest. It is kind of stiff at first. Really nice feature. I never planned on using the remote start, so I quit reading about it.

The owners manual says it has remote start and the arm rest does move.

Thanks I'll check my lid. I'll probably never use the remote start either. But maybe I'll do it to impress someone. I know the pushbutton start sure impresses everyone. The car really draws a crowd. Also every time I stop and look the brake dust has my wheels dirty, how long will that last??

The latest Hot Rod magazine said that the K&N CAI added 32 HP to the measured wheel HP in the picture caption. In the body of the article they raced the Chally (wimpy 1/8 mile) with a CAI, exhaust and computer retune with a stated a 25 HP improvement. Which one is right? I would by the K&N in a heartbeat for an extra 7 HP.

UHHHMMM OKAY...don't believe everything you read.

Has any STOCK 2008 SRT8 Challenger owner been able to remotely start your car from 1 to 300 ft away?

Probably becuase your FOBIK doesn't have the X2 button!

It does, it's in the manual. You use the X2 button on the remote. Don't scare me like that..Lol..........

Don't forget the car comes with remote start too (auto stick). Works from 300 ft. plus away. Cooooollll......

Actually the 08's do not...they do not have the button on the FOBIK from what I've read.

The console lid does slide and there is no remote start. You can remotely open the doors and put the windows down if you like. The push button start feature is so so sweet.
