rumor has it:
If Chevy doesn't move a huge number of camaro's the first year the bean counters want it killed. Hard to picture them killing it off after only a year or two, because of the cost involved with tooling, suppliers, etc. Personally, would change my life any, either way! My heartbeat would still go on (in a Mopar).

I don't get how American auto makers don't understand there will always be a need for the pony car segment.

According to the Jalopnik site, he is facing a lot of legal charges, due to his business practices, not just because of current events in the marketplace....
