They're allowing you to buy a white one. What more do you need in a vanishing point car?

Dodge has a 375 hp Hemi 6 spd white RT ...for 09
I guess I can see how a special edition with VP badges etc would be sought after by hard core VP
fans and collectors, it would probably be a very limited production and end up with an insane market value increase
that it would be out of reach for the average buyer...luckily an authentic version is available already at a regular price

Just do what I did: I already have my 1970-style script Challenger badges and R/T badges. Once my white Challenger arrives, off comes the crappy modern badge on the grille, on go all the proper 1970 insignia and presto! A Vanishing Point Challenger for SE price + the cost of the badges.

how right you are.....supose to be a speshul gay pride fest version at this falls san fran gay pride parade...rainbow stripes are to be featured dominant throughout the interior while the exterior gets only a small rainbow badge placed submissivly on the rear

Oh, I'm sure there will be a 2010 model. At the rate gas has fallen the past week (from $3.89 a gallon to as low as $3.57 here), it should be about 10 cents by then.

Hmmm how often do you think they will update the look of the Challenger? I know the 2010 Mustang will be restyled. I cant see a car like the Challenger having a style refresh on a frequent basis. Interesting............

I would expect to see some minor refreshenings maybe in the 2011 models . . .slightly modified grille and hood, maybe a change in the taillamps. . . also a few tweaks to the interior, probably a new steering wheel. Obviously there will be special edition colors like sublime, plum crazy, and top banana throughout the years. I would expect to see some changes to the basic color lineup as well, a different shade of blue or something. I wouldnt expect a major overhaul until 2014. If the car lasts that long. Mostly I think they will keep it fresh by making new stripe options and appearance packages available over the years. I wouldnt expect anything as rediculous as the 12 new mustang variations that debut every week though.
