I love the exterior of the new Challenger and I've waited for this car for 35 years. I swear I will not buy this car if its interior mirrors the so called Charger and that is the bottom line.
I suspect that the spy shots of the interior may not be what we will actually see on the 2008 production model. In the latest, Part 7, Castiglione/Barrington video, Alan Barrington, the interior designer, implies that there have only been minor changes from the concept (except for the angled console).

I would think that the replacement of the concept's guages with stock Charger guages would not be "minor." I guess we will all know in 8 days.

I think I'm in the minority when I say the interior doesn't really matter to me. For me, it's always been about the looks, power and handling; these are the things that always satisfied me about a car. There's simply too much to like about the Challenger to fret too much about the interior.

Chris...... I'm with you on that. A plain black dash, black accessories and wood grain around the instrument cluster like the old days would be plenty good for me. Maybe a couple of chrome accents here or there just enhance styling lines. But i do want a quality sounding radio, I love to cruise and jam.

Is that a camouflaged suit or a part of the car?..

Mac's got a point, if the Germans can do it, we should be able to figure out a nice interior w/o busting price points.
