Default Stripe Color?

If the color of the new Challenger is black, then is the carbon-fiber stripe black, as on the orange or the silver ones?
Black on black? How gauche! Does anyone know for sure?

I figure it will be black-on-black, and in my opinion, it would look just plain mean.

i think it will look dark gray and will contrast a little. The black will be by far the meanest looking ride.

Agreed. I've seen nothing to suggest that the stripe will be another color.

If the intent to look like CF well CF only is black or dark gray isn't it? I've never seen it any other color. This is only my oppionon. I feel they are making a mistake but doing the CF look on a graphic. I have seen some CF graphics on very high quality vynal. After a few years it don't look to hot unless you keep it gorage keep and park in shade. If in 09 there isn't a delete strip option I will remove them and if I deside to keep strips I will replace them with solid black strips. But again this is my oppinion from what I have seen when I was in car club and did lots of large car shows. P.S. parden the spelling.

I agree with rich knapp. Having a cf appearance stripe is pretty lame. It needs to be either solid black paint thats under the clear or real carbon fiber.

I too am leaning on the side with Rich Knapp. Phony cf doesn't cut it, although also recognizing they couldn't afford to build with a real cf hood. Black on black would be a bad arse of a looking car that would be daunting coming up behind anyone. Imtimidating for sure, so please don't make faux cf. Solid or nothing.

I'm sure the aftermarket will soon take care of you guys. A full over the top and trunk stripe kit would be cool.
