Test and Tune
Z-Max anyone? Test and Tune on 3-6-10 at 10:00 AM. I will be there with a grudge match between my 09 R/T Challenger and my Boss's G-8 GT. So if you can come great. I'd like to meet up with a few folks from the forum. The weather will be great high 50s and sunny. I plan on going to cars and coffee at the North Ridge Mall in the morning and then going to Z-Max in the after noon and get some runs in.

Well we went Sat. to the test and tune. Me and my 2 sons went and had a great time. My boss showed up in his G-8 GT and trash talked us into a run. My son in the SRT-8 Magnum lined up and went at it for 7 races. Tristan my son ran a best of 13.1 @ 110. He won 4 out of 7 races and only lost when he spun coming out of the hole. My other son Josh brought his 350-Z and had trouble launching with out a lot of wheel spin. He managed a 14 flat @ 101. I had problems with launching my 09 R/T 6-speed and could only get 13.8 @ 106. My son Josh jumped in and put down a 13.4 @ 107. I guess I'm getting old. But the wagon beat us all and rules for now. The G-8 with cold air and a super chip ran the best of 13.2 @106. The trash talked stopped and all is good in the world. I believe if we let the R/T cool down Josh could of got a 13.2 out of it. He got the R/T with a lot of heat soak and only ran it 6 times. His first run was with a Mustang and got beat 14.1 to the Fords 13.6 They lined right back up and Josh beat his 13.8 to the R/Ts 13.4. He then lined up again and beat the Stang again 13.5 to Fords losing 13.7. The Stang parked it after that. There is a U-Tube Video of the Maggie beating the G-8 at Z-Max. Go Mopar.
