What problems have you had or any issues with the 08 Challenger? Have you had a recall. There appears to be another delay. Supposingly, the wiring harness issue was resolved, unless the fix has been unfixed. Any ensight?

 

My guess is that that Chrylser rushed to get this baby into production and maybe this little "wiring harness glitch" is just the tip of the iceberg.

The 4/08 edition of Car & Driver had a great feature on the 2008 SRT8 (stevelegel can back me up on this action) and they interviewed Eric Heuschle (sp?) the SRT8 guru and he made a point in that article to say that "we wanted to be first"...in reference to beating the all-new Camaro to market. He was proud of the fact that nobody expected them to intro the SRT edition first. Who knows, but in order to achieve that lofty goal could they have perhaps cut a few corners, so to speak? Probably not, but one never knows. Regardless, this is reason # 6,764 why I'm happy that I have the patience to wait for a 2009...

Moriarty, huh? Anyway, I'm just speculating that's all. I'm sure at the end of the day things will get worked out, but the delay does seem to be cause for concern and not just with me.

I would direct your attention to either the "What's the problem now" forum or "Who has an 08 on order?" one. My guess is you'll see a few posts from some concerned buyers...

 

70sguy, you are asking for a response from someone who has an 08. I do not think Jay Leno reads this board regularly.
