RE: TTX Perf Tires Delay
Tirerack has them available at $266 for the F1s - they usually get me my tires in 2 days
ORIGINAL: Andre@Edge
I live in the town that little house on the prairie was filmed. On the way to the set they have a great test road that I can see a couple miles each way. I have been using it for test and tune. I picked up a dry wall screw in the sidewall of my passenger front tire, and have been waiting for at least a month on a replacement tire. I am on waiting lists at two places in my town. It was very close to tread, but no one would fix it. I have a plug in it, and have not lost a pound of air. Just wont do high speeds until I get it replaced.
I guess its a good excuse to change all 4 :-)

So brother Andre... If youre on a waiting list... and the tires are for the Challenger... does that mean the tire dealer will price them with a market adjustment?

I can't confirm this, but logic dictates that if you're in D status or later that parts have been allocated to your order already. So if you're in D or later, any part shortages should not affect you. C status is going to be the 'sweet spot' where you've received dealer allocation but are awaiting parts/scheduling to be available to bump to D. So if you're in C status, this is likely directly affecting you.
Again, though, this is just a guess.

JUST GREAT! Do I have to take the car back to the railyard, or do they pick it up?

My cars were ordered in May & June and have both been D for 2 weeks now - when do you anticipate build? I hope better than November.
