Both you guys are right about a cheaper price and insurance.

I'm all for a V-6 if it gets significantly better economy but when it does not then there had better be some kind of money saving trade off.

I'm pretty sure I'd be happy with the performance of the V-6 when it makes 250 H.P. Back in the day, the top muscle car was a 5.0 Mustang that made 225 horses. We who grew up in the 70's and started out in p.o.s. cars from the 70's and early 80's thought that that was some real performance!

Realistically, the 2009 Challenger with a V-6 compares with a 1970 Challenger with a 318 (I've had both). Also, the V-6 Challenger could beat a V-6 Mustang (I have both).
