HAHAHA I agree!!!

I just like to imply that I'm "going Chevy" in case any of the big wigs at Chrysler ever read any of this stuff and worry about losing potential market share. Who knows, maybe some of em actually do...

If it's big departure from the concept's I may have to wait out the `10 Camaro until early `09....PLEASE don't make me do that Chrysler!!!!
Keep the faith. Your pirate avatar will not look good in a Chevy bowtie!

Me too... disapointed because I wanted it, but I'm not going to buy it twice, lord knows I have enough clutter in my life.

One thing I have mentioned before and that is they need to make exterior distinctions between the V-6, V-8, and other models.

Very good point! also I hope they make a difference between the 08 and 09 to distinguish it. My idea as that the 08 would be the only one to have the "carbon fiber" look.

My guess:

20's or smaller all around, instead of 20F, 21R
different taillight. The one massive LED taillight taking up the entire trunk looked awesome though.
I guess the seats will be similar, but the gauges will be a little different. hopefully that computer gauge will make it to production.

The spy shots make me think at least the proportions will be the same, so hopefully the road-going version will be faithful to the concept. It's not like the concept was made out of moon rocks; there wasn't much that was obviously never going to make it to production.

Also larger wheels means heavier mass and lower performance.......pure physics.

I think the V6's should have their own 17" wheels, the 5.7l R/T 18"s and the SRT8 6.1 19's. Sixes should have non-scooped, non striped hoods, a single exhaust, and SXT badging.

I guess I am not the only one looking at going old school with rims and rubber. Just have to see how much room the roters allow for down sizing the rims. I am a fan of old G78/14's on front and 15" DOT rated Mickeys or DOT rated drag radial on rear. I mean look at pics of the SS and the tire set up compared to the consept. it looks a lot better to me with tires that have some sidewall, and smaller front rubber as he posted less drag. If you are a fan of 1/4 racing how offten do you see fat tires on the front ?[:-] but that also brings up a Q? If everyone loves racing around corners and want the cornering traction and fat tires then why o why is one of the first Q? asked "What does it do in 1/4?" . I personaly have never seen a round 1/4 mile track that wasn't dirt or for demo races. But thats just me lol
Smaller tires up front and a good sticky DOT drag radial on back I can see pulling some better times than they give for it and still be street leagel. Do to emmitions and warrenty I will be limited some what but this is one change I will be makeing seen as I won't be racing around corners but yet it will be my daily driver.
