Hey guys, great site! I figured we'll see the '08s on the road by the summer, but what about the '09s? My girlfriend is aligned with the "I'll be second in line and get a stick shift" crew, and I support her decision. Problem is that her '99 Cougar is around 100k miles and is having cam proplems... I don't know how long the 'lil girl will make it and I sure as hell don't want to dump any money into a car that I'm just going to trade in a few months anyways. Will we be seeing the 2009's in September or will it be more like January of '09? Thanks in advance!

Depends on who you ask, but my best guesstimation would be around the October timeframe for the 09s to be on dealer's lots.

If they start taking orders in June 2008, September/October 2009 would be my guess .

I was wondering when the 09's were going to hit the lots also... not when i can order one.. i still dont want to pay msrp for one... and thus i figure if none are on the lots then i am going to have to pay close to MSRP.. which sucks

18 months is nothing. I can wait. It'll make the first ride that much better!

I'm guessing mid September. More in line with traditional new model year time frames.

I just hope they will make plenty of manual's so i can get one, if not i wuold be stuck with a automatic.
