good news found out that mine is now on d1 status--which means is moving down the assembly line
shipping date is 04-24-08 and should hot the dealer by the end of the month..........
has anybody else found out a shipping date.......good luck

AT MY DEALER THERE WAS 4 OTHER ORDERS ON DEC 3RD AND THEY ALL ARE STILL ON C STATUS-- I HAVENT HEARD ORDERS ARE GOING BACK TO BG....I HAVE A QUESTION --IN THE BROCHURES FOR THE 2009 MODELS IT SHOWS THAT HEMI ORANGE IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON THE RT MODELS
I AM WONDERING WHY FOR 2008 1/2 THEY HAVE THE HEMI ORANGE..DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS...I AM WAITING TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS A LOWER VIN NUMBER THEN MINE?????IT MAY NOT MEAN ANYTHING --HECK I DONT KNOW JUST HOPING-----

 

Joani, at my dealer they have 9 Challengers, only 2 in D status, the others C.

Hemi orange will not be offered in 2009 on the SRT, RT only. I suppose they are trying to make the 2008 3/4 SRT somewhat exclusive with the color and the carbon fiber stripe. I have not seen anyone with a lower number than yours.

jh27_1970 Don't be alarmed about the rumor, there's probably no truth to it. I heard it from someone second hand and was just wondering if anyone else heard it.
