Mine has been in D1 since June 12. No movement at all. However, I have seen cars jump from D1 to finished many times. Lets hope this happens to us.

Got a personal call from the marketing director at Chrysler yesterday. It was in response to the email I sent them about a lot of our complaints. Very nice guy, responded to a lot of complaints. However, not much help other than to say that Chrysler execs feel that the deliveries are right on time.
Said the unveiling date was Feb 6, 2008. Start of production was late spring and shipping was to be summertime. Also stated that they decided to send one car to every dealer before filling private orders. This was so every area could get one to show off. If you are the lucky one to get the dealers first car, then you are the lucky one. Now that that tatic is almost complete, the rest of us should start receiving our cars soon.
I, of course, disagreed with him on many points. How can they be right on time with an 08 model? Every other 08 I know of was first shipped in mid to late 07. We all know the 09 Challenger will be shipped later this year. I also suggested they give actual information to those that request it. I hope I spoke for all when I said, We would rather have truthful bad news than no news at all.
We also discussed some sort of compensation from Chrysler to ease the agony some of you are feeling. Doesnt look good.

PHIL why did you do this post? NOW with my obsessive compulsive disorder OCD I am going to get us all a real picture of the the Chrysler India call center. And the ones that know me know I will get it.
