Careful with the Superchager. Do your homework and not from the guys making the SC. I been working with a shop that does extensive work even for professional racing outfits for about two years now. There are several SC options for the Charger 5.7 Hemi out there but the problem is dentotation. They have seen MANY 5.7's go to junk heap over it. Most of these SC companies are marketing their product without proper testing and validation.

Go slow, it takes more then an SC to do it right. Very often it takes internals as well as engine control unit (software/hardware) modification.

Hey boomersig, congratulations and welcome to the forum. You have a very low VIN so you should be getting one of the very first off the line, not surprised you have moved to D1 status. RTFROMNC has low vin less than 20 away from Joani (I will not list VIN as I got it at MSRP and I do not want to jinx anything).

Orange SRT8 went D1 with a ship date of April 28th. I can't wait!!!

 

My VIN is listed on here but the other 2 that we havesold at my dealership just moved from "C" to "D" status.

My dealer had sold nine, only had two on D status (mine and one other) until today, now all nine are D status. Looking for mine to go to D1 very soon.

 

Someone on Ebay posted this VIN 2B3LJ74WX8H281234. It checks out as a Challenger. I have never seen anything close to this VIN. I wonder how he got it?
Maybe the VIN means nothing. Like the most mine was ordered the 3rd within a couple of minutes being available.

 

I would wager a guess that with the last digits being 1234 it is a made up VIN...

 

Im In .... In D club..... Vin # 8H302946 ordered on jan 23 2008 Question shouldnt the vin be alot longer like 15 didgets and arent the last digets the sequence # can anyone fill in the blanks

 

Ordered one back at the beginning of December. paid $5000. over sticker. original delivery date was supposed to be late April. Dealer told me he got an email last week that they just started production this week and it will be late June. Anyone actually take delivery yet?

 

That's the same message my dealer got. He also stated some dealers have elected not to release that info and Chrysler has left it up to them.
