thanks for all of the info. If anyone could why it has been sitting in a rail car so long, please share. Otherwise, if anyone has any pull with Chrysler or the rail co to move things along any quicker please help.

My car has been in D-1 since 6/12, with no apparent movement. I checked the Order Tracker this morning, like I do every morning, and it jumped from Step 1 Confirmation, to Step 3 Paint - overnight.
So it certainly looks like the Order Tracker is not neccesarily current with what is really going on, unless of course the plant can actually build a car in a day. I have no idea if that is possible or not. Hopefully you others that have been in D-1 limbo have also moved. Good luck to us all!

Had a funny conversation with Dodge customer service. My status on the tracking site moved to PAINT, but the rep said "you are in "S" and it should ship in 4 to 6 weeks."
Yesterday they told me it was shipping on 7/2... Oh who to believe?
Any help?

My VinVision shows a ship date of 7/2 as well. But my dealer did tell me last week that everything was about six days behind schedule (I suspect it is more than that). Of course that is the ONLY thing they have ever been able to tell me. Joani has been far more helpful, as has Budman.

Morning all,
Waiting with the rest of you. My Challenger is built and "at the facility". Let's all hope our Challengers make it out prior to the holiday. Only problem is the U.S. workers will be on holiday too. So I guess doesn't matter when its shipped, just hope soon.
A special thank you to Joani, Neal and Budman for keeping me informed. I look forward to getting my new ship date.
