LOL. You got a point there, Birddog. What is worse: inept or sneaky?

Roswell,

They were trying to circumvent the 1 800 number and the abundance of calls. Neither one of them has proven to be very resourceful, but they have to have some number for people to call in this age. If they can't keep up with technology on the customer support end they will never make it.

I think it would have helped on the 1 800 number had they kept the operation in America or at least a place where the people could be understood. From all that I've read here, I'm not even going to bother calling it about my '09. If I want to hear someone babble, I can listen to my wife.

I think what started a lot of the problems was the fact that my dealer like maybe so many others, told me that they were building in the order of orders placed. They also told me they were building the Orange cars first. They also said that they would start shipping in the Spring. Now I have no way of knowing where they got their info. Maybe Chrysler, maybe out of thin air. Had I been told up front that the cars would be shipped in the summer, all would have been better. At least until I started seeing Challengers on the road. What it boils down to, is no matter how much griping and complaining goes on, and I've done more than my share, it is what it is.

But I don't have to be happy about how it is. Now, if Budman is correct and my car is in the next line, I might be singing a different tune tomorrow.

Dear Ms. Joni:
Hopefully this will be my last request. Could you please check 8H291045. I got your physical location sent to my email ddress by a fellow friend on the forum and no matter what you say there will be a gift for you via Federal Express. My email address is billiio@valornet.com and if you could get me Budman's physical address, I think he deserves something also.

New new best Country Lawyer friend.

Birddog,

In addition to: there was not going to be hemi orange srt available in 09, that changed. Originally they were talking about 4500 08 srt's, that changed to 6400. Functional hood scoops that changed, shall we go on. Cars due late spring and in the order they were ordered, that changed.
