Your VV has showed you in 3 places today alone. It tracked you through 2 places in MI, and then showed 1 place in IL before decatur. I would say you have a good grip with what we have.

I'm a 12/3 9:45 am est orderer and still no challenger. This is unbelievable, my car is 2 states away, actually one that separates us. My dealer today backed out on me and him picking the car up from the rail yard. This has been set up for months and now he can't, unfreaking believable. Every time I think I gained a step I go two backwards. The car is supposed to arrive this weekend and not delivered to dealer until Wednesday. I was ready for me and him to pick it up Monday. Wow, I can't seem to catch a break.

Congrats GPMAN!! You know what Im talking about huh? Impossible to really understand and appreciate what all those who have gotten thiers are talking about until you experience it I guess!!

Thanks all for your congratulatory notes, the car is well deserving of such sentiment... I gotta say THIS CAR RULES!! It is the stuff! All the complaints about little this and little that not being quite right, well they all end up being nothings for me! This car is absolutely perfect in every way! The automatic transmission... I LOVE IT... it is right with this car. All you that will be soon getting their cars will soon see. People do gawk and point and circle the block and all those things… for good reason… the car is killer!

Kramtrah and Rubberbndman… you will find out that THE CAR somehow becomes more of a thing of art and beauty when it is parked in your own garage… not sure I understand the dynamic but it somehow just is!

A huge THANK YOU to Joani and Budman for their selflessness in giving us their time to satisfy our neurotic anxiety and settle us down during the tedious anxious wait. I would also like to thank all those who offered support in the Challaholics group that made the wait tolerable with a certain special thanks to Andre with all his intoxicating tips and advice… as much as I doubted some of his tips and pointers they got me through… and a special thanks to Testor’s who made enduring the wait possible. I would also like to thank my beautiful bride for all her patience and tolerance through the process… but even more so for the freshly drywalled and painted garage. Shes a Champ!!

Picked up my car yesterday. black #4013 vin 302787. I've put about 300 miles on it so far. The rims seem to get very dirty w/ brake dust. Thanx again to Joani and all who ran vv's. Some kid in a Mustang tried to catch me today just to ask questions about it etc.. Had it going about 120 . needless to say he had to catch up w/ me down the road!

Thought I would chime in, regards to everyone waiting for their Challenger. Mine should be showing up tomorrow at my residence here in FL. I found one for a good price in the UP of Michigan. It has taken me 3 weeks to get it transported 1500 miles, as it showed up at the Dealer June 28th. Yes, I could have flown up and drove it home, but I did not want to put 1500 miles on it off the bat, wouldnt seem like a new car at all.

Anyways, my point is that a lot of people on this board are caught up on why is it taking my car sooo long to build and to get from the Canada to their dealer. Some have even cancelled their orders. I guess in the age of too much information, we all are acting like it is christmas eve. Once everyone receives theirs, this board will no longer be active

with 135 miles now, I consider the car to be broken in. From 35 miles an hour you better be paying attention. When that big engine lights up it's ferocious.
I also did a burnout today. If you hold the ESP button for 5 seconds it becomes somewhat disengaged but not completely. I put it in first gear, stepped on the brake till the tires started to spin, let off the brake and did a fifty foot posi burnout before I let off with a big grin on my face. When you see the front brakes for the first time they are bigger than you thought. I've never seen even a German car with brakes this big.
