Andrew were you working on a torque converter for the trans in the challenger if so I would be very intrested in what you figure out . Thanks

I have been building the performance upgraded converter for the Hemi Trucks, and LX cars for years. Same transmission in all LX cars. The upgrade is common on the chargers if you research, and we build the hemi truck (5-45rfe) converters at the rate of 25-30 per week this time of year. I will post results when I have mine installed as a matter of recommended bolt ons. I am not a sponsor on this board and want to stay within the vender rules. Find anyone of the 10 fastest Dodge hemi trucks, and you have found my product.

 

Well, mine is now placed at industry here in Nashville. and should be unloaded today. But not delivered to Dealer until Wednesday. Waiting on a full truck load I guess. This will be the longest 5 days of the entire wait. I still can't believe I'm getting one after all the crap I've been through. I still don't understand why my dealer is actually only getting one order. They had placed 2 orders but only one was picked up. Not sure when the other one was placed. Mine was naturally on the 3rd. They have since went out and bought 2 from another dealer in Ohio at over cost and brought them into Nashville to sell. The second will still probably be here before mine. I think they were one of the honest dealers that didn't put in a crap load of orders without valid names attached.

 

Yep, just like Westside Dodge. Dodge had built a car specially for Betty Rock and is sitting on the showroom floor for $61,995.

arrived in Atlanta 9:29 last night. And should arrive in Jx by tomorrow morning. Iwas going with dealer to pick up and now he says he can't. I just as worn out by this whole ordeal as you. I guess it will soon be over though. I guess I'm on a Wednesday delivery scedule as well.

I hope that Dodge has passed the instructions to the truckline down south about loading the cars so that the chin spoiler isn't torn. With my luck, I will bet you the bottom of my car will be damaged. How much are you willing to wager Bird?

 

That would be a fool's bet. Now remember, the Wednesday date is just an ETA. It could be earlier. (But then again, it could be later. Any wagers on that?)

 

birddog... Im stoked for you! Finally the long awaited Challenger will be arriving for your absolute pleasure. Dont know if anyone has mentioned it... but you will find it is well worth the wait!!
It will all be behind you soon and you will be driving off into the sunset with a smirkish grin indelibly pasted to your mug. As for the wait at the railyard Dodge projects transfer to dealer as a three day wait... just happens to be what the put on the schedule. You will likely find your car at the dealer Monday!! Have a great weekend... when you get through it you will find a Challenger at the other side. Cheers!!
