Just joined DodgeChallenger.com today. I have been reading the forums the past few days after picking up a Pre-Sale Challenger on ebay. My sales guy tells me end of may, early June on a 290xxx vin. Last I heard it is in paint status.
According to "Automotive News magazine", 237 Challengers were built the week of 4/28-5/3 and 412 were built in total this year so far. So it looks like last week was the beginning of the retail production of the Challenger.
My guess is that we will be seeing these cars in showrooms after the race this sunday. Like everyone else, I cant wait to get mine in my garage!!!

Dodge order tracking site shows I'm in paint (F status). I called the 800# and confirmed it and have a ship date of 5/7. We'll see!!?!!
It sure seems like more of you out there should be seeing movement in your cars. I know there are some of you that have lower Vin#'s than me.

Now if we can just find out the order they will be making them and the daily production numbers. My dealer had told me early on that they would be making the Hemi Orange ones first.
