I learned today that my car was in production. The question is what part of the production process, ordering parts, manufacturing parts, staging parts and the assembly? That could mean a lot of things. At least it is a positive sign of things to come real soon. But for me not soon enough. the question is how long does it take production from start to finish? Dodge video states challenger premiering in May. Do you think the first batch will be possibly delivered in April? Orange SRT8

bclocalnews in a previous post by damnskippy, did state 2009 challenger in April, but showed a picture of the SRT8. what makes you so sure?

 

From everything I have heard it is entirely possible that there may be a few... very few if at all... built and possibly deliverd within the month of April. I think it sounds unlikely given the process and shipping times, but again, outside chance, possibly. Actual manufacturing looks to be scheduled beginning second half of April. I think a more reasonable guess would be a week or two into May... just my thoughts

 

08's will begin production in april that is why i am so sure

 

I can't wait til people on this board start getting their Challengers and start talking
about what it's like. April/May seem soooo far away.

 

March is only 2 days away......we've waited for 2 years. Hang in there.

 

As fun as it is to read about them and look at the pretty pictures, I am excited to get mine in hand. Wonder who will be first to post with thier own Challenger. Hate to be greedy, self centered and arrogant... but I sure hope it's me!!
