I didn't think the 09 SRT was suppose to come with a hood stripe. Is this something new????? If so how do you tell the difference between the 08 SRT and the 09 SRT????
Joani,
What are hearing about the delay, surely they have told you why your car has not come in yet.

If memory serves me. The 09 SRT won't have the carbon fiber looking hood stripe. It will be plain black.

Still that don't sound like much of a difference considering the extra trouble were going though not to mention the extra money for the limited edition. This damn car better be worth all the trouble!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like the main difference is going to be the dash plate!!!!!!!!!

Cuda ,
You've got it, well maybe the carbon fiber hood stripes, but the way things continue I doubt it. It surely isn't time as the 09's will be right on the heels. Is a high number badge worth more than an 09, I doubt it. If I could get an 09srt in a few months guarranteed I would do it right now. As I am starting to get alittle agrevated with the way they are handling the 08's.
Is anyone intersested in an 08 hemi orange?

I figured this would happen if Chrysler drug their feet on the 2008's. I am hearing from several people that they may wait and get an 09 R/T instead of the 2008 SRT, especially if they paid over MSRP as many did.

Mopar,
I thought I had a low vin also 289405, not as low as yours, but not that far. VIN #'s mean absolutely nothing in regards to order they are built. The American Way is the way it will play out. Some low vins will be blended in with the higher vins, just depends on where and how much lube is used.
