I'm as anxious and upset as anyone about the lack of information coming from Dodge, but I got to thinking about it and if we get our cars by early June we are on schedule. We all bought a 2008 3/4 Challenger, so if they begin delivery of the 09's in September, that makes a June delivery a 2008 3/4, right? Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that production picks up the next couple weeks. Hopefully by early June we are all happy campers.
D Status since 3/27.

Just got off the phone with a fellow union member. He is in the CAW TCA LOCAL 1285 and works in the Brampton plant. He said that they have built about 200 Challengers but they have NOT shipped any yet. He said that they are going over them and double checking everything twice to make sure they are 100%.

Well, that's kind of a good news/bad news thing. Glad they are checking everything to make sure it's right, but 200 cars since Thursday? 200 cars/6 days=33 cars a day. Hope they pick up the pace a bit...

BUDMAN thank you for takeing the time to give us some information . Its about time we get someone working at that plant that has enough compassion to give us a real update and not blow smoke up out you know whats . You deserve some kinda of award maybe even put you in charge of public relations as you are much better then the moron running it now .

At least thats promising and makes sense. Still thats pretty slow for 6900 cars. I wonder what the glitch is? apparently there is some significant gaps in the body panels. I hope they get to rolling soon, It seems kind of weird, the slow production and all the lack of information there must be some kind of issue thats pretty significant.
But at least they are moving even though it's sloooooooooooooooooooow. Thanks for the update. Well at this pace when they build my car in June I won't be badge 5900,lol.

By the way, when all of you 2008 owners get your Challengers be sure to post those pictures and put it in the Sights N Sounds section.

I did try to get out of him what they were checking but he did not know. I think they started building them and are still waiting on some finnish parts to be built and they will put them on before shipping.

Earlier his week a fellow posted on ALLPAR that 24 had been built that day. I assume that they willbuild around 500 at this rate, then go to full production. Once at that point they could build the entire 08 line in 15 days. There are many factors that would come into play but it is possible.

Just learned holds have been firmware/software related too, not all hardware/mechanical (form/fit finish). My cousin tells me firmware/software has traded places with mechanical for being an occational long pole in the tent. Tests are on-going. This may even be old news to some that figured as much.
