I don't know Billionaire. 108Challenger call 1-800-992-1997, answer all the questions and get to a breathing person. Tell them your dealer refused to give you a VON and they'll take your name / address and get your VON for you if you have one. They are getting a little pushy now at that 800 # so they might not be as helpful now.

 

If you are talking about the red one that is a charger srt8. The only challenger is the black one above the cab.

 

I agree, bluestang50. The red one has the SRT spoiler and wheels, but the back window has the sheet metal up-kick trademark of the Charger.

 

What VIN do the '08s start with? Mine is 91289, any idea as to where that is on the production?

No one knows Bob. Chargers, 300's and Magnums are going to be built on the same line as the Challenger making VIN numbers even more confusing. Just be glad you got a VIN. The cars are coming, be patient.

 

Ok, Ok... I'll rescind my "definately a Challenger" comment. The more I look... the more I am starting to see the Charger lines and such. Guess, I was just a little over excited with Challenger mania... sorry...

Besides... if you can read the VIN # your eyes are way better than mine...

 

Coyote, I don't know for sure where they start but my guess is around 89100. Hope that helps a little.

 

Well Joani said her car would ship today, someone else in this forum said theirs ships on the 24th, has those two D1 status changed yet? Are there still any persons status D1 or did they all go back to D? It's really kind of strange there sure appears to be a lot of different challengers built for them not to have any of the 08 srt's delivered by now.

Has anyone heard from Joani lately? She appears to be the most advanced.
