Just read on a different site that there is a problem with the paint vendor for Hemi Orange on the 08 Challenger.
I hope this is not true! I don't know if I want another Black car, and I don't like the silver!
Please don't shoot the messenger! I hope it is just a rumor, anybody else heard this?

I think all the proffit from the Honda Muscel Cars goes back overseas though.

 

Our government gives huge tax breaks to them as well giving them a financial incentive unavailable to US manufacturers... [:'(]

BTW... Called my dealer and looks like I am back to status D ... again!!!

 

The parts there having trouble with were prob outscorced to china or inda. Ever try to get a part from your local parts store thats made in America

 

Well boys IM still in D and myt dad went back to D1 so at least he is makeing progress .

 

I find it hard to believe, but at the same time it wouldn't surprise me, the simplest part of the production would be the paint. They've only had 6 months to mix and test the paint. To find a problem now with the paint and hold up production would be an anomaly. There is no way that this is the cause of delay. They could paint mine red and I would be happy. Dodge do you hear me, you could paint mine red. Would you like my vin #?

 

Let's face it guys and gals... Dodge is definately up to something. They are kicking back and working out thier master plan for the release of the mighty Challenger SRT8. I think it may have been 70sguy that mentioned something about a simultaneous release of all the Challengers they could muster at one time??... Well... all the stuff that is going on... I Am starting to think... maybe???

I am definately starting to think they are up to a major media hype to release this bad boy... we'll see soon enough I guess...

 

I dont want to be a stick in the mud but the Brampton plant where they are building our Challengers is now closed until Tuesday morning for holiday.
