Great fun! I now have 2 dealers bidding against each other. I'm at $755 under sticker and the competition has just begun. Now if I can get a couple more involved this could get very interesting.:D

I searched ALLPAR with a fine tooth comb every page every link and could not find one single reference to the delay in building the 5.7 ltr Hemis so if anyone can find this please post it to confirm or stop the rumor, thanks Fat Cat

Where did you get the delivery date of Oct 10 but your status is unknown on your SRT

I thought only some RTs and SEs have proceeded to or past D which should give an anticipated ship date and VIN

Last I heard I was in BX status, but that was almost a month ago. Ive yet to receive a VON or VIN, so I downgraded it to UNK.
The estimated delivery date is from my dealer. I put the question marks on it because I doubt it is accurate.

I didn't say anything earlier because I wasn't a member at the time. But before hearing about the loss of the leases with dodge. I heard about the 1000 layoffs and the possibility of the brampton factory staying closed for 5 to 7 weeks instead of 2. This may have a bit to do with the not making hemi's statment, but Im no expert. I just saw it on the local news.

Called to get the status on my VON# it seems it had upgraded to "C" status. This is a very optimistic process. :)
