Although some dealers were given a few early 2009 allocations, SRT allocations will start for all dealers in August. When your car gets built will depend on your place in line. I ordered my SRT on May 16 from a high volume SRT dealer in IL. I am #3 in line so I should see my order advance in August.

I used the 800 number friday and it worked fine.

I ordered my R/T under my name on Friday, July 18th 2008 at 5:30PM. Today I learn the car is already on BX status, is that quick or what? BA to BX in 2-working days is very optimistic view. I wonder how long before D status, hopefully by Friday. I can wish can I. LOL.

As of 7/18: "BA" status.
As of 7/22: "BX" status.
As of 7/25: " ? " status.
Mine was the same - from order to BX in a day. Then it went to BG and has been there since - ten weeks now. Hoping some movement occurs in the next week now that the line will be moving again (after the two week retooling / MY / hiatus). I really dont want to bring it back to NY in December.

Just try again. Its been working fine - just may be overloaded from time to time. Impatient future Challenger owners and all.

If you get a VON number from AAFES, please let me know. I ordered my 09 SRT for overseas delivery back in mid March, and still nothing. Im curious to see if you have any better luck.
Will Do. When I ordered it the other day I was told there may be a production delay on the 5.7s and they may not be built until December! I said if thats the case don't bother delivering in the middle of a northern plains winter so I set a date of May 1st for delivery. Today I went back and found out that the engine delay is no longer happening so now I'm working to get the delivery changed to as soon as possible. I'll keep you informed.

I swear, this site annoys me sometimes. Trying to post this question again: can someone put on here again the 800 number to check your VON? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Actually, I have nothing to say. I just wanted to see the 2009 string back above the one about the '08s. Those guys cry WAY too much. ;)

I ordered a stone white SE as well RG

Want a great deal on a extra 3.5L/transmission and all the interior? Even a spare rear end, 4 tires and all the inside trim
