Who has a 2009 Challenger of any model on order is in addition to the other tread about the 2008 SRT8'S
Lets all try and usev this to talk about our impending orders and hope that we can keep Joani Short , Budman, Neil, and any other members who can help around to help us, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I'll start: I ordered back on May 15th, a 2009 R/T in hemi Orange from Buhler Dodge in Eatontown , NJ. My order has a VON number21968653 and at this time is BA status. What this means is that the status hasn't moved one bit since May 15th. Even though I've seen some posts on here that some have 2009 orders with VIN numbers and in BX status...Looks like some of us may go through the same BS with Dodge as the 2009 Members...I really hope not!

PLEASE , all members that have a 2009 on order post on this site so we can keep track of when we may see our Challengers to, OK

I ordered my '09 R/T (TorRed, 27J, 6 SPD, 20", sunroof) on June 13th (VON 22085106). My car "went BX" on June 20th, and as of July 2nd, the car is in C status. My dealer is just outside columbus ohio, and had 3 cars allocated. I was really hoping for a mid August delivery, but i am trying to not get excited after following this forum for the last 6 months!

I really will be suprised if your cars come in as quick as you're hoping. As far as I know, they have not even set up the line for the 09 run. If the 08s are any indication, it will be at least 4 to 6 weeks for the first car to be finished and staged for shipping. Then shipping can be anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks. This would put the first car delivered somewhere around mid September at the very earliest. I also read on this forum that they will be concentrating on the SE model first, then the RT and at the very end the SRT. This would put RTs probably very late this year at the earliest. I am giving this information so you guys don't go balistic like several of the 08 buyers have.

I have 2 identical 2009 SRT-8s ordered - Hemi Orange loaded - stick, perf tires, sunroof, My GIG, Group II complete with hood stripes

#1 was ordered June 18th VON 22118347 currently a C status

#2 was ordered earlier (May 16) VON 21973549 rollercoaster BG/BX now back to BG status

I hope the C status turns to D soon.

Does anyone know when the next round of scheduling will occur?

$45,375 including $1700 gas guzzler tax as well as 8 gallons of gas (better be premium)

Thank you. My 08 was $46,035 including $2,100 gas tax. I think I get 19 gallons of gas though...lol.

OK, aside from the VON (22099150) and options (spare tire, smoker's package), my signature line pretty much says it all. The last time I checked (a couple of weeks ago), it was in BG status.

I hadn't expected to see it till December at the earliest (from what the salesman told me originally). After reading the rumors here of earlier SE production, I asked him if he'd heard anything about that. He said he hadn't, but did know that dealers were pressing Dodge to go with the SEs earlier.

I'm trying to avoid falling into the trap of worrying about its status. When it shows up, it shows up.

It's MSRP + $100 for tire + $30 for smoker's package.

Hey Roswell, does the smokers package help remove rubber from the rear quarter panels - LOL? That will be the only smoking allowed around my car - I love my cigars, but refrain from smoking in my cars, now rental cars - that's a different story.
