I hear ya. I've been waiting since like May of '07 for my car. I think I'm so used to waiting for it and enjoying the thought of owning a Challenger that I won't know what to do when I actually get my car. That or I might mentally snap as soon as I start the car for the first time and do a burn out until my rear tires shred to nothing.

Fatcat, I can only think that its the hood decals. I didnt delete them so thats probably what it is. It looks like we are hopskoching over each other! I cant wait to see what my status is tomorrow seeing as they have a Future showing a delivery of Tuesday. I seriously do not see that happening but quite possibly the 19th is good. Congrats on moving along!

I just learned yesterday my 09 SR8 6sp went /D/ status. I guess that means it is scheduled to be built - but what does that mean? Scheduled? I can not find anywhere this "schedule" and my dealer tells me, just as soon as they know they will tell me. So what is the general observation here? How low from D to gate-line? Then how long from gate-line to KZ?
I have started holding my breath. Am I prematrure?

I would say sometime this week you will move to D1. How long after D1 to KZ on a 6-speed SRT, I couldn't even guess. Okay, I can guess. I would say mid to late October your car should be at the dealership.

From the chatter it is starting to sound like maybe production is going to pick up a bit. I certainly hope so. Last week, someone on the forum posted the URL for sending Chrysler Customer Service a message. I used it to vent my frustration at the lack production. Perhaps there were enough of us that did so, that they figured they better get some Challengers built and in the hands of the folks who have ordered them.
