wrongway, its just my opinion of course but the area you are from along with the west coast seem to get the fastest deliveries. So my very wild guess is 2 to 3 weeks to St Louis. My 2009 R/T is also in KZ status and I don't really expect it till mid or late Oct here in New Jersey. Congrats and good luck on yours!! Fat Cat[sm=gears.gif]

I sent them an email friday. If I dont get a reply sometime today (Monday) Im going to start looking up upper management phone numbers and start calling. "Hello? Mr. Press? Yeah, this is Scott. Where is my Freaken Car!"
You know the saying, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."?
Im about to raise the bar.

On a side note, thanks for putting up with my rantings lately. I am learning to deal with my frustration by taking it out on my drum set. The neighbors love me.

From the chatter it is starting to sound like maybe production is going to pick up a bit. I certainly hope so. Last week, someone on the forum posted the URL for sending Chrysler Customer Service a message. I used it to vent my frustration at the lack production. Perhaps there were enough of us that did so, that they figured they better get some Challengers built and in the hands of the folks who have ordered them.

Hey SKiDs, glad to see they finally got back to you and you’re happy with the response. I'm still fuming about mine.... "should be 4 to 5 weeks from ship date of 8/29/08".... really, because it's not set to be built until 9/30... that’s some magic if my car can show up before it's been built.

I hear ya Cuda. My frustration level peaked a few hours ago, and I could hardly concentrate on work.
I finally got a response a little while ago. I guess I missed them before they left for the weekend. They gave me a new ship date of 9/25/08. My original DELIVERY date was 9/16/08. All in all, not too bad of a delay I guess. It should be in the port by mid to late November, and be in Germany in December. I wont be back from Afghanistan until January-ish so It sort-of works out I guess. I was hoping to be the one that picks it up from the prep-center, but I guess Ill have to get a Power of Attorney so my friend can do it for me. My dealer said he will store it in a locked area covered if I want, so Ill take him up on the offer. I think he is planning a big media unveiling of the car since it will be the first in my area.
Its good to know SOMETHING, even if it isnt exactly what I wanted to hear. My blood pressure is finally dropping a bit, and I can lay off the drum set a bit. The neighbors will be happy.

well it this is the case I would like my time traveling Challenger to arrive tomorrow.

Well, we ARE talking about 2009 cars. This is 2008. Hence, they're Future Cars and are popping back into the present time at random intervals. They probably haven't quite perfected time travel in the Amazing Future World of 2009.

RE: WHO HAS A 2009 ON ORDER?
Ready to be jelious? I got my response back from Chrysler today saying "In response to your email concerning the vehicle order status, we would like to inform you that you will receive your vehicle within 4 to 6 weeks from the estimated shipping date 08/21/08. For more information, we suggest that you contact your dealership, as they are the best resource for this information." Now I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high since according to my dealer I'm still in D status. But it is hard. They didn't mention what my actual status code was, so I sent them a reply request for it. Almost here! WOO HOO!!!!!
