Not to be a downer, but if you get an 09 SRT in the middle of September....I'll buy you a tank of gas. Seriously, put your expectations to about January and if it comes earlier you will be happy. If you leave your expectations as unrealistic as they are, you will just end up very frustrated.

Good recommendation Dave but based on experience the safer bet would be to set the expectation for January and be happy if you get it by March...

I'm talking w. two dealers in Ohio and they still can't tell me a price and the options available??? Absolutley maddening especially as you guys have orders in already...and yes, this is for an '09 SRT.
Ask about the "Classic Edition" in B5 blue and you may as well be speaking chinese...

There has been a bunch of happy customers at Bob Frederick's dealership in Ohio. Perhaps you want to give him a call. There was a thread on here somewhere with his contact information. I would have ordered from him but he's a Buckeye and I'm a Wolverine. We have taken too many beatings in late November recently. Buying a car, or anyrthing in Ohio is taboo until we win a few. I won't even go to Cedar Point. If I sound bitter it's because I am.

I have 2 VONs for a Orange SRT8 with every option but sunroof. One dealer quoted $500 UNDER MSRP and the other (which I like better as a dealer but money is money) was kind of reluctant to match and has commited to "work with me". Both orders the same week in June and in Bx/BG status.
I would rather wait till April instead of the hassle of December. I wont drive it anywhere thats not warm and sunny.
This will be my first and only garage kept, weekend driver. Unless that powerball thing works out[:-]
