RE: WHO HAS A 2009 ON ORDER?
Yeah, I'm very happy. Still learning all the toys. Played with the Key-less Go today. The wife has got the phone on the U-connect working. The Nav is cool. The garage door opener was more difficult than it should have been but we finally got it. I took posession before they detailed it, so I cleaned it a little myself. I still think I'm going to go matte black on the spoiler but it does look good this way. Going tomorrow to get an appointment for putting my hood stripes on.

The day I ordered this car, I ordered the carbon fiber stripes that are on the 08's. They came in with-in a week and have been waiting for the car to get here. I think they will look OK.

Still stuck in D and I'm starting to get impatient. From what I've seen on the Registry, only one manual can has moved past D1. It makes me wonder if they still have a hold on the manuals.

WooHoo! My car went to KZ status today with a possible dealer delivery date of Friday the 12th. Which probably means I won't be able to get it until next week after dealer prep and so forth. I'm getting fired up. I hope that means they'll start moving faster for all the rest of you folks as well! I have yet to see a Challenger locally (central PA).
I'm going to ask the dealer to check the seat bolts because of that issue that was posted - hopefully that has been resolved like the early problem they had with the wiring harness (and addressed it right on the assembly line).

Impatient is an understatement! I fully understood the 2008 cars having some issues "coming to life" from nothing but, after building over 6500+ of these, you would think Chrysler could figure out how to build the next model year... There is NO question they are building A LOT of SE models to flood dealer lots with more affordable cars, and there is NO question there are issues with the 6 speed cars as well. I just wish someone could come up with some answers! I just love seeing unsold SE models on dealer lots while hundreds of SOLD orders go un-built. I am a chrysler fanatic, but you would think a sales drop of 30% would encourage them to build more of the ONE car they have that has potential to sell!
I am losing my interest so fast, i have begun looking at other ways to spend my $35,000. I told my dealer today that i am a week from cancelling. If i don't see "D" by mid next week, i am out. I live in central Ohio, and this car is useless by November 1. I really don't want to have my dream car get delivered in november, and sit until April, and of course while i get to make car & insurance payments for nothing. GRRRRR...
