WHO HAS A 2009 CHALLENGER ANY MODEL ON ORDER??
Does this seem odd? I ordered a 2009 SRT (auto) on May 16. Finally made D status on September 21 and have been stuck there. I ordered no options and have the standard all weather tires. It seems like they are pushing out the manuals.
It is very frustrating not knowing the reason for the delay. [:@]

Mine went from arrival at the dealership on the 12th to the 14th and now it will be here on the 10th!!
Dealer keeps telling me it is still at least 2 to 3 weeks away!!

One thing to keep in mind: VinWin isn't ABSOLUTELY accurate. It still shows mine being at the dealership, although I've had the car for almost two weeks. Also, it says it got to the dealership the day after I picked it up.
Hey RG gives me an idea... go to your dealer and tell them you are there to pick up your car. Maybe they wont notice and theyll give you another one...

Better not drive the Challenger though...

Im with ya there Bro. I ordered my SRT, minus sunroof, on May 28th. I went to D1 on Sept 12 and it was built by the 19th. It was supposed to be delivered on the 7th, then the 4th, and lastly on the 8th. All was moving along until it got to Windsor on the 23rd, where it has been since. No idea, but despite being anxious, there is nothing to move it along so itll get here, just dont know when. I know its gonna be worth it.

Damn weekend screws up everything:P I'm gonna fly out tonight to get to the dealer. I bought it in a different state to help with the taxes and hang out with my parents for a bit. Hopefully it dont take more then a week from today to get there from truck release. The dealer thinks wednesday.
Hopefully I am right behind you.
By the way I kept checking with dealers and finally found a parts manager with some knowledge on the MOPAR chip for the Challengers. THERE IS NO SUCH THING FOR THE 2009. The MOPAR chip is for crate hemi's that are being placed in older cars. I was told that the Challenger is so close to the EPA specs now that they cannot go any further without being outside the restrictions.
I hope my car is on a fast train..........................

Mine left Toronto last Thursday and was in Chicago rail yard Friday afternoon, according to VinWin, where it has been ever since. Needs to move out to the Dodge plant in Belvidere to be taken off the train and loaded on a delivery truck to be brought back 30 miles to the dealer.
It is tough knowing it is so close I can almost touch it, but have to wait for them to move it the last 50 miles before they will take it off the train. [:@]

I feel for you pat_mcc. I am excited and mine has just been loaded. My dealer told me mine could set in Memphis for up to three weeks before delivered here, 3 hours away. I told him it wouldn't cause he would take his a#$ and get it. I won't be able to stand it knowing it is that close. If mine were 30 miles away I would be a wreck. Good Luck
